Lauro Garza, also known as "Larry," is a talented, renaissance man. He is well read, intelligent, analytical, creative, tenacious, humorous, well educated, an excellent writer and also a man of determination and strong convictions. He has been called "The Idea Man," a maverick, confrontational, uncompromising, intuitive, and also a funny guy. With many years of college education, 25 years of law enforcement experience, Lauro is a world-class investigator and intelligence analyst. Mr. Garza is also a teacher, past adjunct professor, historian and consultant. In the recent past Mr. Garza gained some notoriety as a political analyst and essayist. Those experiences were recently gathered into a new five star rated online book entitled "Betrayal: The Republican War on Conservative Latinos." More recently, Lauro completed a Masters degree in Psychology with which he would like to pursue Texas licensure as a Psychological Associate and work in human factors psycholgy related to aerospace endeavors. Lauro previously hosted talk shows including LatinoTalk Texas and Conservate Latino Talk Radio on BlogTalk Radio. Being an excellent and versatile writer and a particularly gifted voice talent naturally lend him the skill of public speaking and consultation. Lauro is also a funny guy, who is able to perform entertaining impressions and differing accents at an instant. He has an excellent voice for recording and telecommunications and has been said to be, "very good looking on the phone!" Having grown up on his father's cattle ranch in Jim Hogg County, Texas, "The Vaquero Capital of Texas" and having worked as a "1930’s era cowboy reenactor" Lauro has learned many of the "ins and outs" of the ranching business and served as ranch manager of his family's Beefmaster Cattle ranch in the brush country of South Texas. Today, Lauro participates in a variety of trail rides and parades associated with the famous Valley Lodge Trail Ride Association.
